[3:57 pm: Sheltering from hideous mutants.]

The Workflow tab is where I lay out the business logic of my app by dragging events and elements around and configuring their properties.

Here, I created an event that adds a database entry of type "thingie" when I select an option in a dropdown. That option has to be a different one from the one that's currently selected.

Given that I'm currently rusty in programming with the languages I've used before (C# and JavaScript) [1], this is a big time saver. But I wonder if a developer who's proficient in both coding and no-code might save time by using Bubble.io. It would save a lot of typing because you don't have to define classes and methods, initialize fields, etc.

I can’t help but wonder if it would be possible to get a job as a no-code developer after building this app to some level of complexity. If I ever lost my current income, that is! Not planning to get Overemployed or anything. ;)

[1] It’s interesting to note that Andy Sterkowitz would still learn C# as his 2nd programming language if he were to start over again, as of November 2021. However, he’d start applying to jobs while he’s learning it because by then, he’d have enough experience from programming Tetris in his 1st programming language (he started learning JavaScript by building Tetris).
